Pinned page

A page of the site a reader (note: Reader) chose to keep at hand: pinned (19 passages, no note) from the button after its title, shown as a tab (33 passages, no note) in a row (41 passages, no note) under the bar (28 passages, no note) of every page, in the order of pinning, until the reader removes (5 passages, no note) it. The row exists only once a page is pinned; it holds what fits (3 passages, no note) and folds the rest behind a summary (24 passages, no note) that lists every pin with a filter (note: Facet). The pins live in the browser (31 passages, no note), never in the address (56 passages, no note), and never expire on their own: an entity pinned keeps its tab, named by the title read at the time, even once a later publication (40 passages, no note) removed its page. Without JavaScript the row and the button are not there: the served HTML carries every page in full, as the theme renders (24 passages, no note) it.
